The main instruction on the bottle is to the shake the bottle well before using it so that all the shimmer particles come up without staying at the bottom. The bottle looks like molten gold when shaken. These shimmers are not straight up glitter, they are so fine and dainty that it won’t show up chunky when sprayed on the hair.

I found that the Shimmer Shine definitely made my hair look shiny and healthy. You simply spray it onto wet hair and then dry and style as normal or you can spray it on dry hair also. I also didn’t notice the gold sparkles on my hair, it was subtle yet made my hair shiny and healthy. My hair is a normal to combination type and this shine doesn’t seem to make it greasy or heavy. The shine mist is exceptional, it makes your hair shiny, soft and healthy, but I am not sure about its repairing features. Another thing to note here is that this spray has a very strong perfume fragrance which will be noticeable by everyone around you. So, if you have sensitive nose, then this will be a problem since the fragrance is long-lasting.
