My Experience with The Nature’s Co Spearmint Body Wash:

The body wash comes in their signature packaging for body washes i.e. cuboidal transparent bottle with fliptop. The fliptop is detachable and if you accidentally drop the bottle in the shower, then it will definitely get detached. I have also noticed that the bottle leaks if kept tilted. I removed the cellophane and kept it flat on my dresser. I noticed that the body wash seeping out from the bottle. Though the leakage is not much, but it is still there. Overall, the packaging is not travel-friendly as it needs to be handled with care.

The consistency of the body wash is on the runny side and has a smooth-gel like texture. The body wash has a nice greenish tint and mild mint aroma. For reference, the fragrance is like a milder version of a well-known medicine “pudin hara”. I know what reference I have given, but couldn’t find anything better matching than this.

The fragrance is mild and not on off-putting side, but if you are not a fan of mint fragrance, then do not try this one. I do like minty fragrance, but I don’t know why I wasn’t impressed with its fragrance. However, liking and disliking a fragrance is entirely a personal choice.
Coming to the usage, only a pea-sized amount is enough to create lather. It lathers nicely even if a small quantity is used. The body wash cleanses the skin properly and does not leave any residue behind. This body wash provides a nice, mild and cool tingly feeling to the skin. The weather is already getting hot and these kinds of body washes are enjoyable.

Post rinsing, it does not make the skin tacky or taut. In fact, the skin feels a little hydrated and I don’t have to rush immediately to apply body lotion. After the shower, I definitely moisturize my body. The body wash makes the skin softer and smoother after the shower. The skin feels super clean and fresh.

Post-shower, the fragrance lingers on for an extremely short period – less than 30 minutes. The effect of the fragrance is very mild after the shower. I am someone who wants the fragrance to linger for a few hours. I was hoping the fragrance to be noticeable, but it wasn’t.
Overall, if the fragrance is not taken into consideration, then it is a good buy. However, we all know that body washes are mostly about fragrances. Hence, before buying this body wash, take a sniff of the product to decide.

Pros of The Nature’s Co Spearmint Body Wash:

  • Mild fragrance.
  • Provides a bit of cool and tingly feeling in shower.
  • Lathers nicely.
  • Makes skin soft and smoother.
  • Provides skin with clean and fresh feeling.
  • Fragrance does not linger for more than 30 minutes – if you don’t like the lingering fragrance.
  • Vegan and cruelty-free.

Cons of The Nature’s Co Spearmint Body Wash:

  • Not travel-friendly.
  • Not a pleasant fragrance – I didn’t find fragrance living up to my expectations.
  • Fragrance does not linger for more than 30 minutes after shower – con for me as I always want fragrance to linger for a couple of hours.

What happens when a girl who hates kids has to babysit them for the whole day? Since there are little or no chances of any of my five- and six-year-old cousins and nieces or nephews reading this, I deem it safe to admit here that I hate being in the company of kids. I do not like to acknowledge this, but I’m not blessed with the patience one needs to answer their many queries. Last weekend, though, I ran out of luck when my sisters-in-law decided to go on a shopping spree and leave their kids in my care. So here I was, on a beautiful Saturday, dealing with the tantrums of three little monsters. The best thing about being a kid is that you can come up with an idea of doing anything, anytime, regardless of how strange, insane or difficult it may be for the elders to fulfill it. So out-of-the-blue, the kids made a plan to go swimming, followed by a trip to the nearby kid’s park and then retire to their favourite ice-cream place. Nothing I said or did deterred them. Giving in was...
