Sundays With Tabs the Cat, Makeup and Beauty Blog Mascot, Vol. 492

Tabs couldn’t wait any longer. Even though the official start of spring is a week away, he decided that he isn’t going to dress for winter anymore. While doing his morning cat-isthenics on the corporate lawn the other day, he sashayed past a row of lovely tulips, and when he got back to the office he headed straight to the wardrobe department and made a new collar.
This was the first day he wore it out, and being a kitty supermodel and all, he did an impromptu photo sesh after the morning patrol.
The patrol was uneventful, which was fine by Tabs. He was a little sleepy this morning (the clocks sprang forward at 2 a.m.), so he wasn’t in the mood to chase down any trespassers.
One of the best things about this time of year is the salad quality. It’s top notch. It isn’t hot or dry yet, and the grass is delish. Tabs definitely chowed down. 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color Lilac Review Hey gorgeous gals, Bobbi Brown season continues on IMBB with another shade up for review from the ‘Crushed Lip Color’ line. This is one of the latest releases from Bobbi Brown in India – apart from the ‘ Skin Long Wear Weightless Foundation ‘ (which was reviewed earlier). There is a whole lot of campaigning happening around these at the moment. Product Description: What it is:  An all-new lipstick formula that delivers a just-kissed stain effect in one swipe.  What it does:  Loaded with soft matte pigments for high color payoff with a blotted-down stain effect and formulated with vitamins E and C and beeswax, this lipstick glides on comfortably and leaves lips hydrated and kissably-soft. The long-wear formula gives lips color without feeling heavy, for a un-lipstick look and feel that doesn’t feather or fade. Swipe once for a pigment-rich, stained effect or more for a fuller-coverage look—no mirror required....

What happens when a girl who hates kids has to babysit them for the whole day? Since there are little or no chances of any of my five- and six-year-old cousins and nieces or nephews reading this, I deem it safe to admit here that I hate being in the company of kids. I do not like to acknowledge this, but I’m not blessed with the patience one needs to answer their many queries. Last weekend, though, I ran out of luck when my sisters-in-law decided to go on a shopping spree and leave their kids in my care. So here I was, on a beautiful Saturday, dealing with the tantrums of three little monsters. The best thing about being a kid is that you can come up with an idea of doing anything, anytime, regardless of how strange, insane or difficult it may be for the elders to fulfill it. So out-of-the-blue, the kids made a plan to go swimming, followed by a trip to the nearby kid’s park and then retire to their favourite ice-cream place. Nothing I said or did deterred them. Giving in was...
